2015 is starting out as another exciting and busy year
12th January sees the commencement of the “Stepping into Management” in-house programme for 8 delegates from York based business The Group Company.
A young and vibrant organisation, led by Helen Bilton are putting in place a middle management tier, to accommodate the company’s growth and future expansion. The business has benefitted from the Growth Accelerator initiative, and accessed matched funding for the management and leadership training which consists of 7 x 4 hour sessions run fortnightly until the end of March. 360 review were carried out and the results fed back to the 8 participants before Christmas.
The 4th session of the Harrogate business CNG Ltd, in-house ‘Stepping into Management’ Programme takes place at the end of January. Delegation and dealing with underperformance were the key subjects at session 3 and will be the main focus for the feedback reports. Another intense session is expected with high contributions from everyone attending.
3rd February will see the start of an in-house Team Leader programme at CNG Ltd. 14 delegates will be attending 7 fortnightly 4 hour sessions through to the middle of April. During December 2014, Team Leader 360 Reviews were undertaken and during January, the feedback meetings will be carried out in preparation for the start of the training. The feedback meetings will be undertaken by the Line Managers, and observed by Diane, which has been incorporated into the ‘Stepping into Management’ programme, as part of their learning and development.
16th March is the start date for the Spring 2015 open Personal Development Programme.
