The Summer open Personal Development Programme came to a close on 16th July, with 10 very proud Graduates supporting and encouraging each other through their Final Presentations.
Hearty congratulations went to everyone on the fantastic progress they made with their communication, rapport building, influencing, delegating, dealing with difficult situations, their productivity and an increased awareness and ability to remain calm and composed, demonstrating a level of leadership required by many but often demonstrated by few.
Suzanne Furey, Director of the Gillygate Pub and Rooms in York was the “Runner Up” with David Parton, Assistant to the GM at Howarth Timber Burnley, taking the top prize of the Outstanding Achievement Award.
West Yorkshire based energy supplier, UGP Ltd are a rapidly growing business with big plans for the future. Directors, Ross Taylor and Phil Kane were keen to ensure the personal and management development of their key employees matched the growth of the business. An in-house programme started in May and 4 hour sessions ran fortnightly covering inter-personal and management skills through to mid July. Delegates Niam, Asim, Tom and Tim presented to the Directors at the end of the programme the benefits received from the training and their commitments for the future.
